Perfect for a sweet weekend breakfast or even dessert! Make the most of winter citrus by using lemons, blood oranges, grapefruit, limes or lemons.


4 Rebel Bakehouse Sourdough Bagels

2 oranges
2 limes
2 tbsp honey + 1 tsp honey
¾ cup mascarpone
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp chopped pistachios
Small handful fresh mint leaves

Peel & slice the oranges and lemons into rounds. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of honey. Place in the oven under the grill for about 10 minutes until syrupy and caramelised. 

In a medium mixing bowl add the mascarpone and remaining honey and mix until combined. 

Place your bagels in a toaster or under a hot grill for around 2 minutes, until just toasted & golden.

Spread the mascarpone generously on all the bagel halves. Top each half with 2 – 3 slices of the caramelised citrus. Sprinkle over the chia seeds and chopped pistachios. Finish with a few fresh mint leaves for a pop of colour and freshness.
