BOUNDARIES FOR 80 YEARS
Our modern rebels began our flavour adventure in 2019, born from third-generation family bakery Breadcraft in Masterton, Wairarapa. Breadcraft is no stranger to the bread aisle; since their first loaf in 1942, this family bakery has constantly strived to bring Kiwis delicious food and exceed expectations.
Bold innovation has always been at the heart of what we do. Breadcraft was one of the first bakeries to bring artisan European loaves to New Zealand. Their sourdough and ciabatta breads were a hit, and our sister brand Cottage Lane still uses the sourdough starter that came all the way from San Francisco, which is about to celebrate its 80th birthday!

So, it’s no surprise that our mission for the new age of bread is to pack more goodness and more Kiwi ingenuity into the versatile wrap and the iconic bagel. That means we focus on both nutrition and taste. We have worked hard to bring you delicious, nutrient dense wraps and bagels with excellent health star ratings across our entire range. We have experimented with quinoa, hemp, linseed, poppy, chia and new ways of incorporating exciting ingredients into our products; we reckon you will love the results as much as we do!
